The Light

An evening stroll with a friend,
The invitation of horror and death
So brave you were, you lit up fire
In the hearts of otherwise sheeple

Millions have endured the horror,
And millions will endure the same
You stood as symbol of sacred life
As testimony to brutality of society

Nothing can bring you back
   Any tribute might be insufficient
You were truly a light, a meteor
You'll be in our hearts for eternity
